As a communication designer, Mr. Akio works with a wide range of clients from various design services, such as branding, product development, website and fashion accessories. During the 2 hours talk, Mr. Akio shared his experience of graphic design and how it had lead him to multimedia design. He emphasised that it is important to understand design processes which could offer various solutions on the usage of multiple platforms and different screen sizes.
One of the valuable key design tips he shared was to keep the content on an interface simple, straight forward and clean. “It is a designer’s task to think critically and propose a solution based on client’s need. Designers need to put themselves into the shoes of the client,” said Mr. Akio.
